According to my project stats page I still have 2 workunits outstanding on HOST# 19137:

      6998126 3149942 15 Feb 2014 2:29:27 UTC 25 Feb 2014 2:29:27 UTC In progress --- --- ---

Problem is that PC NEVER RECEIVED THEM. This is what is called a "Ghost Task"...

    This can occurs when:

For whatever reason the server decides not to send it.
There was a "transient HTTP error" or other connection issue.

    • There are instances where the server will assign a task to you and the client does not receive it. We normally call them Ghost tasks and there is a process on the server, which may or may not be currently enabled, that will rend these tasks to you eventually.

You may see "sending lost task", or something along those lines, on the client what this happens.

For more information on Ghost Tasks and where I copied the above descriptions from see SETI forum Post# 1477610 & Post# 1468276.

I know about the problem, thanks for the information! I will try to fix it.

        It is STILL BROKEN!
My Account page currently shows 4 Tasks outstanding that MY COMPUTER DOES NOT HAVE and I CAN NOT GET NEW WORK FOR this project because the server thinks I have work until they time out.

I am not sure about the reason of these "ghost" tasks, but there was a problem in work generator (and, as a result, in transitioner). I fixed this problem and I hope that ghost tasks will not occur more.
